Lots of Food was started at the end of 2013 to demonstrate the value and viability of transforming a vacant lot into a thriving orchard and market garden. There are hundreds of similar vacant lots in Louisville and other cities and other folks like me are doing similar projects to improve food security and restore some vitality to neighborhoods.
